Luncheons & Dinners
The Chapter cordially invites you to join us for our next dinner meeting at UNM Continuing Education Center on Thursday, August 27 at 5:30 pm. This is a joint meeting with IEEE. Our guest speaker will be Joseph Kotulski, PhD, Computational Electromagnetics Engineer, Sandia National Laboratories, “Gemma: An Electromagnetic Boundary Element Code for Qualification in Electromagnetic Environments.” We know you will enjoy socializing with colleagues and our guest speaker presentation while enjoying a delicious hot catered dinner. There is plenty of free parking available.
Please plan on attending our luncheons on which are generally held on the third week of the month. Our September luncheon will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 11:30am at the UNM Continuing Education Center, 1634 University Blvd NE. Our speaker will be Clayton Ten Eyck, PE, Chief Engineer, Southside Water Reclamation Plant (SWRP), Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority (ABCWUA). Please note there will be no luncheon in November due to the State Issues Conference which will be held on Friday, November 13, 2026. Our objective, as always, is to provide you with interesting and timely speakers and topics, delicious food and PDH credit, while providing an excellent networking opportunity.
Here are our scheduled luncheons for 2026: our October 15, 2026 at 11:30am and our Holiday Luncheon on Thursday, December 17, 2026 at 11:30am. Our first luncheon in 2027 will be held on Thursday, January 21st, 20276. We hope you will be joining us.

The 2025 Golf Tournament
was held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Sandia Golf Resort. Players competed for fun and prizes and to support MATHCOUNTS. Thank you for attending!

Bowling and Beers with Engineers
Celebrating 2026 National PE Day at Skidmore’s Holiday Bowl! Thank you to everyone who joined us (even if you didn’t bowl !) and we hope you will plan on celebrating National PE Day, August 4, 2027 with Beers with Engineers! If you missed it last year, we hope you will join in Celebrating Licensure and the Profession with PEs Around the World on the twelfth annual Professional Engineers Day in August 2027 ..

We want to thank all of you joined us at our EWeek Conference held in February. The 2026 Project of the Year, Young Engineer of the Year, Engineer of the Year, and Engineer In Training award winners were honored along with our Outstanding Student Winners from UNM, NMSU and NM Tech. Please check out the State website for more information and pictures from our luncheon celebration.
